In the sixties she was the most famous and popular singer of Argentina, recorded hits like Qué suerte! and El cardenal. In Buenos Aires she starred in the local versions of the musicals The Sound of Music and 42nd Street. Married to tango singer Néstor Fabián from 1967, she remains one of the best singers of her country.
