Vassilis Mazomenos is a Greek film director, producer, and screenwriter whose work is characterized by a distinctive visual style and a poetic, philosophical approach to cinema. His films often explore themes of memory, exile, identity, and the darker aspects of the human condition, blending symbolic imagery with strong visual composition. His filmography includes Money: A Mythology of Darkness -the first European feature-length 3D animation, Guilt, 10th Day, Lines, Exile, Purgatory, and Endless Land. His films have been presented at major international film festivals, including the Fajr International Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, International Film Festival of India, Cairo International Film Festival, Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, FEST Belgrade, Panorama of European Cinema and Fantasporto, where they have received awards and critical acclaim.
