Meraj

Film director Meraj died following a paralytic attack at his residence in Allahabad on 12th October 1997. He was 46 and is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.Meraj used to assist Gulzar before he became an independent director, and directed films like Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, Sitara and Dhat Tere Ki.His funeral was held in Allahabad on 13th.
