David T. Scott is the Founder and CEO of Evil Genius Games, a tabletop role-playing game publisher established in 2021. The company is known for adapting blockbuster film franchises such as Pacific Rim, Kong: Skull Island, and Rambo into modern cinematic RPG experiences. Under Scott's leadership, Evil Genius Games developed a creator-focused publishing model that combines original storytelling with licensed IPs and innovative gameplay systems.Before founding Evil Genius Games, Scott spent over two decades in senior marketing roles at major companies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Twitter, AT&T, PeopleSoft, Honeywell, and General Electric. At AWS, he managed a global marketing budget of over $2 billion, and across his corporate career, he became recognized for his work in digital transformation, customer acquisition, and brand leadership.Scott is also a three-time startup founder. Between 2005 and 2020, he launched and exited multiple venture-backed companies, including an on-demand streaming service acquired by Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud network. He has served on advisory and governance boards for organizations such as CM Group, Goodwill, the Boys and Girls Club of Seattle, and the Data Marketing Association.As an author, Scott published The New Rules of Lead Generation in 2013 with HarperCollins, a book widely referenced in the marketing industry. He has taught marketing courses at San Diego State University and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.In 2007, he was recognized in Puget Sound Business Journal's "40 Under 40" list. He is also an avid tabletop strategist, once ranked 7th in the world in the board game Risk, and remains active in international chess tournaments.
